Oral Rehabilitation
We use state-of-the-art materials including porcelain, resin, metal and other resources for the restoration of damaged teeth and/or replacement of the missing ones. Our materials and techniques result in functionality and an esthetically pleasing outcome.

The objective is the restitution of the missing teeth providing functionality, comfort, esthetic appearance and good oral health. In some cases, the surgery and crown placement can be done in one appointment.

Laser tooth whitening
This is one of our most requested treatments and is done by Dr. Zovico in only two appointments! The difference between this type of whitening and home treatments is the comfort and speed of the results. The laser treatment does not generate heat; therefore there is no damage to the teeth.

Metal Free Esthetic Crown
Due to the lack of metal, the transparency of this material (alumina) results in a natural looking tooth, avoiding dark-looking areas, especially at the gum line seen when metal based crowns are used.

Bruxism (clenching or grinding teeth)
The stressful force of clenching causes pressure on the muscles, tissues, and other structures around your jaw. This can lead to jaw joint disorders, jaw pain, headaches, earaches, damaged teeth and other problems. These symptoms are often referred to as “TMJ” or temperomandibular joint problems. This treatment requires a team of various specialists, such as a physiotherapist, a psychologist, and a dentist. Accurate diagnosis is the key to treatment success.

Hair Implantation /Transplantation Dr. Fabio uses individually transplanted hairs from your own head.

The beauty of a Botox® Cosmetic treatment is that it’s a simple, non-surgical process. A few tiny injections, and within days there can be a noticeable improvement in the moderate to severe frown lines between the brows that can last up to 4 months. Results may vary. And there’s no recovery time. Your doctor will administer several tiny injections of Botox® Cosmetic directly into the muscles that cause those moderate to severe frown lines between the brows. Your doctor will determine where to administer the injections by examining your ability to move certain muscles in your brow area. The location, size, and use of the muscles that create a furrowed brow vary markedly among individuals. No anesthesia is required, although your doctor may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream prior to injecting. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief.

Microdermabrasion Facial Resurfacing
This procedure causes only exfoliation of the most superficial layers of the skin. It doesn’t bleed and therefore it can be done in the doctor’s office without anesthesia. It is done through microcrystals that are launched under pressure on the patient’s skin through a specific device. The skin only gets reddish and anesthesia is not necessary.

Laser Facial Resurfacing
It can be superficial or deep according to what the dermatologist thinks is necessary, it is preferable to do only the superficial. The skin is removed by a light beam (laser) that causes a burning without the increase of the temperature of the deep skin.

Laser Hair Removal

Restylane® is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

This procedure uses a Brazilian Plastic Surgery technique that consists of removing the fat/tissue under the skin via lipo, and then the flaccid skin is removed with a scalpel. Since the vital lymph nodes are found in the inner thigh area, simple scalpel excision of the fat/tissue inside the inner thigh has been known to result in the accidental removal or disruption of the lymphatic system which can cause severe swelling, sometimes permanent. However, using the Brazilian technique, the tube (lipo canula) that is used to suction is rounded and so it does not harm the lymph nodes or the blood vessels.

The incision is a T incision in most cases that would end mid-thigh. How far it extends down the thigh, and where the scar is placed, depends on the individual and the amount of skin and tissue to be resected. Unless you have very limited redundant skin, a simple incision and tuck in the groin/panty-line, will not address the lift of the skin properly, leaving you dissatisfied with your results.

In the recent years, many “new names” have been given to the traditional liposuction initially developed in France in 1983.

In fact, all this nomenclature serves only to increase the patient’s interest in liposuction. Today, we have for example: liposuction, liposculpture, lipo light, smart lipo, lipo with ultrasound and with laser (which can burn the patient’s skin and cause severe retractions), liposuction with seringa.

All of these procedures have the unique purpose to remodel the patient’s body, no matter which medical devices are performed, and there’s no scientific based work that proves that doing one or another medical device, the lipo will be better.

The result will depend on the surgeon’s ability, the capacity of skin retraction, absence of stretch marks, cellulite and patient’s weight.

Dr. Fabio’s technique is done with canulas that have 3 holes; he always does previous infiltration with physiological serum and adrenalin with the purpose to diminish the patient’s blood loss.

Or mechanic peeling is done using an electric engine of rotation and a diamond tip/edge. Through the rotation and the attrition, the layers of the skin are removed. It can be superficial or deep. It is usually used in thicker skins, such as the perioral area (around the mouth), therefore if it is done around the eyes (periocular area) the skin could pull out (cause damage) because it is very thin in this area. It can be done in all parts of the face but the periocular area (around the eyes). As the perioral wrinkles (around the mouth) are deeper, Dr. Fabio does the peeling in this area and then the dermatologist complements the other parts of the face doing laser or microdermabrasion.

Ear Pinning (prominent ears)
This procedure can be performed on a child as young as 5 years old. This procedure may only require a local anesthetic procedure or it may be necessary to perform in the hospital with sedation or general anesthesia.

Eyebrow Lift
This procedure is called a Modified Castanhares Technique. It is not the endoscopic brow lift. It is accomplished with a very small incision just above the eyebrow hairline and the brow is lifted and given a bit of an arch. It will address only the eyebrows.

Eyelid Lift
This procedure addresses the delicate eye area and will lift both the upper and lower eyelids and address the fat pockets under the eye.

Face Lift
This procedure will address the crow’s feet somewhat, cheeks, improve nasal-labial folds and neck. The incision generally traces the front outline of the ear, around the ear lobe, up about mid-ear and straight back into the hairline an inch or two. Depending on the severity of the lift needed, this incision could be less.

Forehead Lift
This procedure addresses wrinkles in the forehead with the excision of the frontal forehead muscles which effectively paralyzes (partially, sometimes totally) the muscles, essentially giving a permanent Botox effect. The incision is placed back in the hairline approximately two inches. It will also help to raise the eyebrows.

Dr. Fabio will perform the cosmetic procedure to the nose; however, this procedure can be combined with the expertise of an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist to address problems in the nose outside the expertise of plastic surgery or in addition to the cosmetic surgery of the nose. You will generally need to have clearance from an ENT specialist if you plan on nasal reconstruction to verify there is no septum deviation or other defect or obstructive problems to be addressed, that could actually become worse (or finally evident) after plastic surgery.

This procedure raises the buttocks and often the outer thighs. It is rare to perform this procedure separately from the lower body lift unless the patient has already had a tummy tuck. This procedure may address some of the skin redundancy on the lower back as the incision is made at about the waist.

Inverted Butt Lift
This procedure addresses very adequately, those that have buttocks that are droopier or have loose skin at the base of the butt (rather than the low back/ top of butt) and the heavy saddle bags at the outer thighs. The incision can be combined with a LBL a TT, and/or an Inner thigh lift, so they meet. The basically begins at the top of the inner groin and comes around and under the butt and the loose skin is resected there. The incision can be extended (via extra skin resection) to continue up and around the outer thighs more at the top of the outer thighs (hip joint area) so that the saddle bags can be addressed better than with the Lower Body Lift or Extended Tummy Tuck. This procedure tends to make the butt slightly more rounded and some tissue can be “molded” into the butt at the base at the incision.

Brazilian Butt Lift
This is a procedure that uses lipo’d fat from other regions of your body and it is injected into the buttocks, shaping them, giving them better definition and filling in where needed. Sometimes the fat is reabsorbed into the body, but generally this area preserves it well.

Insertion of Gluteus Implants
The Gluteus (Butt) implants are inserted through an incision made in the crack of the butt at the top, rendering it virtually invisible. Silimed Silicone Implants are used.

Butt Flap Technique
If there is enough excess tissue, the butt may be augmented using the patient’s tissue. The patient can sit after one week after the surgery is done, and this is because the flap is placed on the upper half of the butt, so when the patient sits, he/she doesn’t sit on the flap.

If you need a Back Resection Dr. Fabio will determine the length of the incision and will be as conservative as possible to achieve good results. This procedure will resection the skin across the back in the bra line. For those with skin folds on the back, especially the upper back, this will properly address their removal.

The extent of the lift and the scar will depend on the amount of tissue or gland to be excised. Generally the anchor incision is used. It involves areola (nipple) size reduction (although the areolas are not removed, so as to preserve sensitivity!) so a cut around the areola, a vertical line down to the breast fold/crease, and then a horizontal incision in the crease/fold. Dr. Fabio’s aesthetic approach will minimize the extent of the scar, and yield pleasing results.

Breast Lift WITH Implants
Silimed Cohesive Gel Round High Profile Silicone Implants are used.

Insertion of Breast Implants without Breast Lift
Silimed Cohesive Gel Round High Profile Silicone Implants are used.

Male Breast Reduction
There are a couple techniques to reduce the size of the breast in males, Sometimes lipo is all that is necessary. If more work is necessary, the extent of the scar will depend on the amount of tissue and/or gland to be excised. Generally the anchor incision is used. It may involve areola (nipple) size reduction (although the areolas are not removed, so as to preserve sensitivity!) so a cut around the areola, a vertical line down to the breast fold/crease, and then a horizontal incision in the crease/fold.
