After losing 90 pounds I still felt fat because of my festoons of hanging skin. At first I felt I'd have to live with this for life...perhaps get a tummy tuck somewhere down the road. Then some brave folks started going abroad for body reconstruction and coming back with great results. I was referred to Dr. Fabio and had an opportunity to view his work firsthand by a friend who went to Brazil for his wonderful reconstructive artistry. I made the quantum leap to fly to Brazil for a major body overhaul in 2005. While it took some time to make the decision to go, the prospect of getting rid of the excess skin was too tempting to let my fears about the journey stop me.

Dr Fabio gave me outstanding results along with the greatest of aftercare. Plastic surgery for the formerly obese is a new field in plastic surgery and requires a talented surgeon and an artist to give us good results.
